To split a song into separate stems can be a real pain for deejays, music producers, or everybody with the need to separate their audio into different parts.

There are virtually unlimited options when it comes to splitting audio, but either it's too expensive or most of the time vocals are not completely removed.

This new Vocal Remover AI makes this separation a breeze. Unfortunately, due to a lack of system resources, only two stems will be processed.

This application will remove vocals from a song and create a karaoke version for you. Artificial intelligence (AI) will separate the vocals and the instruments. Two tracks will be generated - a karaoke version (music only) with no vocals in the song and an acapella version (vocals only).

Although the service is very complex and expensive, you can use it at no cost. Processing usually takes around one to two minutes. Please note that the song length should not exceed 5 minutes.

This website is making use of the Deezer Spleeter library which was released in the open-source

Spleeter is Deezer source separation library with pretrained models written in Python and uses Tensorflow. It makes it easy to train source separation model (assuming you have a dataset of isolated sources), and provides already trained state of the art model for performing various flavour of separation :

Vocals (singing voice) / accompaniment separation (2 stems)
Vocals / drums / bass / other separation (4 stems)
Vocals / drums / bass / piano / other separation (5 stems)

The reason I decided to offer this vocal and audio splitter as a free online service, is because there is a lot of people in need of a system like this, but do not have the technical skills setting it up themselves or do not own a high-end computer to run it on.

Unfortunately, I am not able to offer the full functionality at the moment, as a lot of bandwidth is involved and Spleeter is using a lot of system resources and needs at leat 4GIG Ram and I am not in a position to afford a dedicated server at the moment.
